        The Modu collection brings together the creative visions of both emerging talents and internationally recognized designers. Each of our collaborators challenges the conventional boundaries of design, crafting innovative and distinctive pieces. Our goal is to curate a collection that is not only inspiring but also timeless in its appeal. At Modu, we are dedicated to supporting designers in realizing their visions, fostering a collaborative environment that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and new ideas, materials, and approaches.

        Luka Or

        Product and interaction designer, owner of State of Play Studio, collector of products and objects, Luka lives and creates in Jaffa, Israel. He develops and designs consumer products, toys, and interactive objects, always through playfulness and a humorous approach to design and product development. His work is exhibited in design galleries and museums.

        Luka is a senior lecturer and design professor in the Industrial Design Department at Holon Institute of Technology and Academic Director of the Interaction Laboratory.

        Itay Ohaly

        Itay Ohaly is a designer whose work ranges from products, exhibitions and space design to commercial, experimental, and conceptual projects. In his work, he examines new possibilities for interactions, collaborations and creation of new design language, with great focus on design processes and methods.

        Ohaly won several awards, amongst the Ministry of culture Design awards 2015 and the Frame&Moooi award 2013.
        He is a lecturer at Bezalel Academy for Art and Design (MA), he gives talks and workshops and participates in exhibitions around the world.

        Ohaly graduated from the Contextual Design Master program of the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL) in 2011 and from the Industrial design department of HIT (IL) in 2007.


        Hilla Shamia

        Hilla Shamia (b. 1983) is a multidisciplinary designer known for her innovative exploration of materials and design. Her work merges art, craftsmanship, and technology, blurring the boundaries between nature and human intervention. Her creations are characterized by layered aesthetics, subtle contrasts, and a unique interplay between form and texture, offering a distinct sensory and conceptual experience.
        One of her signature projects, Wood Castingâ„¢, combines wood and molten aluminum in a process that highlights the natural beauty of the materials. This technique creates a harmonious blend of the organic textures of wood with the sleekness of metal, bridging the gap between nature and contemporary sculpture.

        Lena Vul

        Lena Vul (b. 1990)  is an multidisciplinary industrial designer specializing in conceptual art objects that combine practical use with a strong visual story. Her designs focus on shapes, textures, and materials, Inspired by cultural patterns and simple, clean geometry.

        Lena’s work is driven by her passion for creating pieces that transform home interiors and office spaces into inspiring and harmonious environments.

        Nevo Fryd

        An industrial designer and the owner of Studio Fryd, specializing in the design and development of unique products. At the studio, Fryd creates items that blend advanced technology with creative design, focusing on customization, meticulous aesthetics, and smart use of various materials.

        His vision is to craft designs that tell a story and integrate seamlessly into the spaces they inhabit, while maintaining functionality and attention to the finest details.
